You know, I may be off base here, but I don’t think Wiley Miller thinks very highly of one particular candidate.I don’t necessarily disagree with him, however, I would like to see his take on the other circus show.

I think this commentary is more about what makes someone like Trump popular. I’ve watched him many times, and he says nothing substantive – aside from insisting he’s going to force Mexico to build a wall to our specifications and that he’ll make them like it – but without giving a single detail. BUT Trump says whatever he feels like saying, regardless of whom he insults or hurts, he’s supremely self-confident, and he’s a well-known bully. THAT’S what people like about him – and that, I believe, is what Wiley is fascinated with. It’s not the content of his policy – because they don’t care what his policy is – it’s the “strong man” image he portrays.

Men are “blond”. Women, whether they have huge gazoombas or not, are “blonde”. Blame the French, but get it right or you look like a bigger idiot than anyone.

Not enough. It’s never enough in these cases.

Donald’s hair is more authentic than he is. All he’s doing is pandering to his base. Telling them just what they want to here and being careful not to contradict them, as we saw. That’s why he’ll never get over the 30% mark. The rest want to be pandered to in a more sophisticated manner.

Wiley has identified part of the problem, his supporters have been drinking too much or too little, but it’s PCP, not booze.

The Trumpster is used to being in absolute control. Business allows for that. Prez Trump would have to compromise with others in Washington, and he hasn’t shown me that he could or would do that.-In a word: I bid one No Trump.

Okay, I see what you mean, and it makes sense. What puzzled me was why you only mentioned people concerned with progressive policies don’t care about local or regional election races, even though people on the other side of the political spectrum have shown to not care about such things, either.
