Calvin: (playing with toy) Bok
Calvin: Whiff.. Whaff.. Fiff.. Foof..
Calvin: I can't help but wonder what kind of desperate straits would drive a man to invent this thing.
Q: Heard a story on NPR last night about Winnie the Pooh. Does anyone know if Tigger and Hobbes are related (did the existence of one spur the birth of the other?)
it is for Moms to paddle the behinds of their children after said children break the rubber band holding the ball on….at least that is what my Mom did…..forever threatening us with “the paddle” after that!!!!!
Cal, I gave up on those things in 1948. Also, can’t bat, dribble, catch, see some colors, dance, hurdles (unless I close my eyes), but, me and my Remington pal can shoot real straight and far. Go figure.
Calvin and Albert Einstein both have Asperger’s Syndrome. They have beautiful and intellectual minds. Calvin probably can’t play paddle ball due to his motor skills.
I never could make them work right, and, when the little string broke, it became an instrument of punishment.I never liked those things. The hair on the back of my neck still stands up when I see one…….
