Here's a little something the prop department whipped up... The 1% mobile! Quite stunning, sir!... See here... This button produces a teargas Canon to disperse protesters, and this one ejects panhandlers from the side panels... And what does this button do? That releases the front end Prius crusher... 1%

Is it time to move on to a new subject yet? This is more tedious than the fishman.

What’s wrong with a Prius?(Besides being an excuse for Prius Derangement Syndrome, where you can’t stand to be behind one, and you must zoom around them and cut them off.)

He’ll have trouble catching a Prius. They accelerate too fast!

I have to admit, not a great fan of this character.

I love Sedgewick. He’s so delightfully awful. You just wanna squeeze him until he suffocates.

I’ll take one of those Front-End Prius Crushers for my non-Prius.

The 1% Mobile reminds me a little of Black Beauty, but in a more up-scale version. Love the Prius-crusher: just the thing to put the 99 Per Centers in their place, ehh, Sedgie (I mean, 1% Man)?

Although I’m not a fan of the Prius, I can see its practicality in local travel. My only complaint with them is that they are too quiet. I’m losing my hearing (rock bands and construction work) and have had a few close calls in parking lots.

I want that " ejects pan handlers from the side panels" option on my next car.

The one-percenters fear the Prius because it represents a low-carbon future, and threatens their fossil fuel profits.I love 2000 Honda Insight. 54 to 64 mpg. I can drive a month on 9 gallons of gas. It hauls my butt and everything I can afford to buy in one day, and it’s fun to drive.

Impotent Prius-hate is what the coal-roller wannabes are reduced to when the price at the pump goes up. They know they’re slaves to the oil companies, they’ve heard all the facts about pollution. But they lack the maturity to relinquish their gas engine, one of the props they rely on to feign manhood. Vroom vroom!
As one can see, they believe publicly worshipping their toys makes them look like brave and strong Culture Warriors.
A couple of them still possess enough functioning brain cells to comprehend that Meddick is using Sedgie to mock the 1% AND its toadies, so they whine that he should “move on.”

Is it wrong that I would watch this movie with glee?

wait, what does he have against Prius? It’s a car that uses less fuel and produces fewer emissions. I guess if you make your money from oil it would be a problem though…what the hell does Sedwick’s family even DO anyway? Anyway, oil barons should love the prius, if we all drove gas guzzlers we’d use up all the oil reserves on the planet by 2050-2090 or so, then the oil producers would go immediately bankrupt at that point. With fuel sipping prius cars we can stretch the oil reserves into the 22nd century, staving off the time that those rich people will have to start working for a living.

According to Google, your Tahoe weighs, at best, about 5300 lbs. There’s your problem. My Insight weighs about 1850 and has a drag coefficient of 0.25.I have an S10 for big loads or bad winter weather, but it may sit over a month between uses. I still save money by driving the Insight most of the time. If you can afford the gas and need a big truck, fine. But many who have them find that they have just bought a tall, boxy car with an open trunk, and are afraid to get them dirty, and never go off of pavement.

Except for my first car (1965 Rambler Classic, seats completely reclined to make a bed with the back seat), I have always had trucks or vans, until I got the Insight 5 years ago ( the Edsel doesn’t count, as I never got it running. Driving the Insight mostly, I save $70 a month over driving the S10 only. That more than covers the extra insurance and taxes. Repairs for either are something that was going to happen anyway, given enough miles. At $2.25/gallon and 58 mpg, $102 would take me 2,629 miles. Conceivably I could camp overnight in parks. But I haven’t been away overnight in years (other than 4 days in the hospital), and don’t much care to. I’m tied down caring for pets and chickens, and I know my wife will want to get a horse as soon as I finish some more fence next year.Insight owners have been known to remove the AC compressor to save 30 pounds, or take out the passenger seat. Me, I could stand to lose 80 to get back to college weight.

I get 54 mpg winter, up to 64 as the weather gets hot in summer. I have seen 68 a few times. This is mostly 5 to 15 miles one way in hilly terrain. Stop and go, like running errands with frequent stops, or more severe hills, reduce mileage. It was built as a commuter car. Hypermilers who do all the tricks get up to 90 or better.I paid $4200 for it on eBay in 2010, about $500 for tires and $500 for miscellaneous since then, about $2400 for a rebuilt transmission, and $1800 for a replacement battery which I changed myslf in about ten hours (mostly finding and undoing bolts and fasteners). Also about $300 for a grid charger, used monthly or so in warm weather or after storage, for battery health, not a range booster. It has 188,000 miles now, and I expect it’s good for that much more.I don’t do credit, except as needed to support my business.http://www.insightcentral.net/

Little fella, we ought to crush you Now, before you can do to much harm. Once these types get big they are a big trouble.
