Oh evil, EVIL earworm. That’s just cruel.

There were so many things to hate about the early Eighties.That song is in my top 5, it didn’t help the radio seemed to play it to death, much like they do with today’s awful noise produced by talent-less buffoons who cannot get by without autotune.

I must have been listening to a different radio station because I’ve never heard it before. After 25 seconds of it, I’m counting my blessings.

And it’s a crime I’ll have it in my head all day..

Forget the Super Soaker; burn the leaf! (I don’t even hate the song; I hate overly long gags.)

I got 30 seconds into that song and had to turn it off. I felt a diabetic coma coming on from all the sweetness.

And then there those of us who find it a beautiful song.

One of my favorite songs from childhood. Unfortunately, it belongs there quite firmly; it’s one of those that sounds better in memory than it does over today’s speakers.

I’ll dissent, I have Mary MacGregor’s version on my mp3 player, intentionally.

There are very few songs I truly loathe from my childhood pop music; that is one of them.
