You knew where’d Marigold be, Phoebe, and you came prepared. I applaud you.

I wish there was one more panel to show Marigold’s reaction when Phoebe blows the air horn.

I think it took a lot for Marigold to admit that she missed that annoying little primate.

Be nice!

Just goes to show that when you become upset with a friend it hurts you just as much, if not more than your friend.

Again! She’s been stuck there like, three times now!

It’s big of Marigold to admit she’s sensitive about being called a horse.

It’s quite good to see Phoebe learning that her friends’ needs are important, and that she has a responsibility to pay attention to them. It speaks well for her eventual maturation.

And yet – in another time and place, unicorns are a type of pony. And so are pegasi – pegasuses – pegoosasooses – well, you get the idea.

So now Phoebe has a horn too.

Air horns aren’t nearly as effective if you warn the other person first.

I like your thought…did you mean, “head bent means heart broken”? Very sweet.

Oh, you two…such sweet friends. Marigold’s eyes may be stuck on the pool, but her heart is with Phoebe. Such friendships are worth taking good care of.

All human honorary unicorns have air horns, in another sense.

It’s the perfect friendship.
