Festivus Pole in the corner. Done. Sheds even less than a Charlie Brown tree. Maybe, just maybe a lone reflective ball, on a table beside the pole. For the sake of tradition. I go all out and put a box of bubble lights on the table. I don’t remove them from the box. You don’t want to use electricity too close to aluminum poles. Now, more ’nog with the dog!

Must have taken them nearly a month to save up.

I have a glass teddy bear ornament that my parents bought the year I was born. I kinda think if it breaks, I’m going to die!

That one is their treasured ornament. Meanwhile, all the stuff Patty made as a kid was thrown away long, long ago.

Ma is sure proud of her dear son-in-law…
