That kind of looks like a confessional. We could put one up on every corner. But then you have to put loudspeakers on top so all the world can hear. Yeah, that’ll work.

I guess I read the wrong webpages; most of the comments in them are civil, and often informative. Every once in a while a troll shows up, but is summarily ignored, and quickly goes away. Maybe I read the RIGHT webpages.

I dunno. I think there is a point here.

I love the trolls, it is good to know how bad society is disintegrating. Hiding it does no good.

Somehow I’m reminded of the Billy Goat’s Gruff and the troll under the bridge.

Most trolls have that high school/ 101 level of knowledge or maturity and it shows up in their comments. They may be much older that that but the mentality is stuck in the early years.The name – calling and knee-jerk reactions always give them away!I find like others that ignoring them until they wither away from lack of attention is the best practice.Arguing with trolls is like trying to reason with a drunk!

I think that the desolate far-away asteroid o’ anonymous venters would be more effective.

I blame it on assertiveness training, and whole (recent) generations being taught in grade school that they’re ‘special’.

What is a troll? It seems that name is bandied about quite easily, and generally used in reference to anyone that disagrees with the name caller’s opinion. (sort of like instantly branding a person, a racist, homophobe, sexist, communist, redneck, yadda,yadda,yadda)I used to think it was supposedly a person who says stuff just to get folks riled up and then never responds or responds in ways just to keep the responders foaming at the mouth.Which would be the correct definition?

As I said yesterday, GoComics has a lot of nasty characters. But then so does Youtube, Facebook, Twitter…etc.

Some of the comments I’ve seen on Youtube are just plain childish.

i tried that once but after a while I was told the confessional box was not a place to shut “Lost couldn’t live up to season 1 and season 2 on sucked!”

i feel as if rat and goat have switched personalities in in this strip
