my mom once stashed some fancy chocolate and couldn’t find where she’d hid it. my dad was under suspicion, but usually his raids involved much careless evidence left behind. i thought when we moved the hidden chocolate would be uncovered, but no. so either 1 of us kids found and ate it without leaving the wrapping behind, or dad actually managed that for once
