I agree - is less cursive terms - that the strip is better off without the mice.

I LIKE the mice.

But this arc has a dark feel - something bad is awaiting Raymond, and Louie can’t do a thing about it since Raymond has attached his leash.

dhammika_k, the plural of “mouse” is “mice”. Just like the plural of “louse” is “lice”, and the plural of “spouse” is “spice”.

I would like the mice if they haven’t taken over so much of the ship (and comic). Sometimes they’re funny, but I’d rather see more of the pirates and Louie. If they could be toned down a bit, I’d root for them, but Scratch at least provides a counterbalance.

The mice are great. They provide some of the comic’s really good lines.

Might want to see a better mix of them and the other characters, but I have nothing against them, either.

I thought cats ate mice. If Scratch is killing mice, why do they have a coffin?

I love Scratch. There have been far too few mice funerals.

An aside…. Another difference between Raymond and Louie. Raymond must have a thumb to attach a leash, Louie doesn’t have one to remove it.

Less Mice!

I’m not in love with the mice, but I HATE Scratch. Our guys and the Green Ship guys are “deadly” enemies, but nobody ever gets hurt. When Chip decided that Scratch was actually going to kill the mice, it set a tone to his appearances that I really don’t like. Given the strips the other week about Nate cat-sitting, perhaps there’s a possibility that an accommodation might be reached, but it would have been an easier sell if Jonas hadn’t already lost so many friends.

Terminate his command, Raymond. With extreme prejudice.
