So by sending in Irwin, they are hoping to be able to exit through the “enter only” door.

Irving doesn’t look so happy about all this. Good thing no one is asking him for permission first.

Love the last panel: Chic and Irving on the inside looking out. Wonder whether Kirby can see—or hear—them…

Oh, wait. I see… Chic pulled Irving back out. It’s just near-field focus. Cute.

Good thinking on Chic’s part, verifying Wally’s logical assumptions. Hopefully we’ll find out what’s going on soon.

But what did Irving see on the other side? The part they seem to forget is that Irving is a mutated human like themselves. Will we ever get to see his human side?

The issue is this.Did Wally go to the same place as Holly?Does the door reset to take one to the same place as the first one?All Irving proved is the door goes both ways but does it?Once through can you find your way back?A very neat way of a solution but did they allow it just to bring them in and once in do they cut the string?

I think Chic did this behind Kirbee’s back, literally. He looks a little embarrassed.Truth is Irving looks discombobulated. He may not have liked what he saw.Can Chic and Irving communicate well enough for Irving to express his feelings and impressions?

I thought he liked the bug. What if that was a disintegration field at the doorway ?

I also wonder how Chic tied that string to Irving. He doesn’t seem to have any good points to do that.

I remember my mother talking about using a nickle on a string at gas station slot machines during the depression. She would hit a jackpot, and the fuel for the car was paid in nickles. Her parents and her were often on the road – hard times.

There is another time a door is used like this. Gives the same shapes and all.Page 101 in Vol 3 when Marx appears behind Jacob. But when he leaves Jacob he does it differently he just vanishes.

Well, it looks like they’re going in..Until this development, I was wondering whether Aaron was about to write Kirbee and Chic out of the storyline..You know, we continue on the other side with Wally and Holly, while Kirbee and Chic were safe (we presume) on the ship..Get back to Kirbee or not, who knows? Would we remember Kirbee when we got back to them? (It took over two years to tell the story of two weeks in lizard land). But if Kirbee and Chick go in after Wally and Holly, then all bets are off..One thing for sure: It will be a long time before we see Endtown again..Years, probably.

Too bad Chic’s not a ‘bug whisperer.’ Having been there, Irving could describe it!

You guys, too? I wasn’t expecting it, but it turned up in my P. O. Box this morning. Well, in the locker in the building with my P. O. Box in it, but the key to it was in my P. O. Box this morning. Merry Christmas to all.

Chik and Irving just confirmed that it’s a portal and not instant death, because if it had been death, then the string leash would have fallen to the floor.

So the book is an actual hold in your hands book. Once I know I’ve made it past the holidays without going under, I will be buying it too. Also I want/wanted to get the on-line versions for my grandkids, but not sure about how to get it to their ? E-Mail, or how or where. I guess I better try to figure out how.
