Powerboy, I don’t think they’re smiling. I think those are their noses as they look down at what awaits them.

Corporate heads, many politicians - those who seek to be on top at the expense of the weaker. Fun bunch.

C.A…..you really believe that one party is responsible for the mess the US is in now? Really? Perhaps it’s early where you are, but with all respect, wake up! Both parties could care less about us. Republicans do not care more than Dems. Get over it and use your eyes and brain. They ALL lie, constantly. some people…

Senators should just be told that they have two terms to accomplish what they came to do. After that, it’s someone else’s turn. Honestly, if you can’t make a noticeable change in 12 years, what were you doing in D.C.?

ONE six-year term for Legislative and Executive branches (and no re-election), then back to your REAL career - that’s what the Founders intended. And no lobbying afterward. One-third of Executive elected every two years.

Believe me there are other cans there; venial politicians, pedophiles, corrupt labor bosses and whatever else we can name. I think that theme may be that without morals, power will corrupt.

I don’t know if the person who sent my job to India was D or R and don’t care. I stopped voting for major party candidates years ago. D’s are gutless and R’s are insane. I generally vote for Green and Socialist Party candidates these days, two parties who I know put human interests ahead of corporate.

If God whistles while he works, I’m guessing it would be Beethoven’s 6th Symphony (Pastoral).

Interesting. That’s one of my favorite Beethoven symphonies and, yes, I like to whistle it too. (Although the Storm sequence is a bit of a challenge.)

I’m wondering now if God might also whistle the last movement of Beethoven’s 9th symphony…

Yet another example of Wiley’s anti-business prejudice he denies having. “It’s just a joke.” Yeh, right.

I’ve sometimes wondered whether he learned it from Marx or the Vatican. From this strip, I’d say Vatican.

Wiley, been a great fan for many years. Have bought every one of your collections. Esp love the sunday strip when the super hero drops in and askes the complaining citizen who his reps were. Put that up at the 2000 census office where I worked, everyone loved it. Unfortunately I failed to retreive it when the office closed. I still clip my favorite strips out of my daily paper-they do not carry your sunday strip, which is why I stop by here. Your fan, a very loquacious old man. Tim
