I like this story arc. It’s been touching and funny. Good job Mr. Armstrong.

My cousin’s place was like that. When he died, the coroner’s people had to crawl over stuff piled within 2 feet of the ceiling. We never knew until he died that he was a hoarder, though the packed full state of his automobiles should have been a clue.

This isn’t a hoarder – this looks like the only place he could afford to live – storage lockers are pretty inexpensive rent – with whatever things he could bring from his last real address and whatever he could scavenge to make it more comfortable. And – a dog. Homeless dogs and homeless people often seem to find each other..

At least the old fool had some sense, but not much, to send someone for the dog. If he had more he would have told Marcy about the dog.

So glad to see the new puppy. I just hope Ray takes his time to go through all the stuff now & not be in a hurry to dump the stuff. He’ll never know what he could find. OK, Robb?
