Always too much. Besides the flag belongs to Cruz, Rubio and Rump.

Too much, Hunny Bunny. The unreconstructed neo-Confederate fllagboys in South Carolina are supporting the Donald.

They play Dixie at Bernie’s rallies, but they use the pro Union lyrics.“Away down South in the land of traitors,Rattlesnakes and alligators,Right away, come away, right away, come away.Where cotton’s king and men are chattels,Union boys will win the battles,Right away, come away, right away, come away.”

When will you Yankee’s get it right. The Confederate Battle Flag was a 3 ft x 3 ft square with a white border. The 3 ft x 5 ft flag y’all wave as the “Confederate flag” is actually the Confederate Nave Ensign. We’d have a little more respect for you Yankees if you’d just get it historically correct.

I wonder what battle flag Cliven Bundy was flying. And will the feds let him keep his flag and his cowboy hat in prison?

Ummm…perhaps a tad. Mind you, the South lost. Can you say ‘not learning from history’?

Suddenly the bunny is Ted Cruz? He’s the one wrapping himself in the CBF.

    Also: wrong number of stars.

It’s worth it to remember that the Jim Crow south was solidly Democrat.

It’s worth it to remember that the Southern Democrats all switched parties or were defeated when a Democratic president got civil rights legislation passed.

Actually it was still pretty solidly Democrat even in the 1970’s. Look at the election map from 1976 when Jimmy Carter was elected president. .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_1976.The change didn’t fully come about until the 1980’s, but I agree that the seeds of it started in the 1960s.

I’ve been in GA since 1976, and have seen it go from conservative Democrats to ultra-conservative republicans. The redder it got, the worse it was run.
