Well, Snoopy has got to get his vitamin A one way or another.

Our dog will eat a lot of things. Carrots are not among them.

How is using a carrot such an amazingly original idea? Isn’t that what it’s always been?

I just suffered through two noreasters here in Boston, and another one’s on the way. Ugh!

Snoopy did the same thing in a later strip, when his “friend” the snowman melted in the hot sun… it was remarked on by Charlie Brown and Linus as they watched from the window.

How’d Snoopy get up there to eat the carrot?

Snoopster gets points for snagging the carrot without damaging the snowman. :D

So Chuck invented the use of carrots for snowmen?

This looks great, the perspective and detail, Schulz put some time into this one.

I’m getting too old. All I can think of is “how can Charlie Brown make a snowman without wearing gloves? My hands would be completely numb!”… sigh.

—That snowman has no nose! How does he smell?
