As we longtime ‘Endtown’ fans know it…this is the beginning of another tour of backstory trainwrecks for us.

It looks like Lyn’s unconscious now, this would be a good time for him to mutate.

With Lyn dead. I am not sure we are going to get any answers on why Lyn has been giving Wally the stink-eye.

Mr. Sherman, it’s not a single story house. Don’t you remember Wally etc went upstairs to look at the nursery?

Yeah…Lyn has NO idea what is going on. Talking rodent-thing speaking to him about a dead fish being his child…blood everywhere. No wonder he freaked out.

Oh boy! Your fresh delivery of IRONY has arrived! Also, that doesn’t look like a very comfortable way to tackle a wall.

Am I the only one confused by the perspective of the walls at the foot of the stairs? One seems to be at a downward angle, with the other at an upward angle…

He comes home to find his wife is a mouse, and his baby is a dead fish. His reaction is heart-breaking, but understandable. Perhaps he feared what he was going to turn into if he stayed any longer.

Actually, it looks kinda like the stairs end in an enclosed landing with no way out but back up. Odd.

Similar to Holly’s reaction to Ethel, and I really feel bad for Lyn, he did nothing to deserve these changes. I don’t blame Holly for running from Ethel either. She was probably returning the BuddiBombs when she was hit by the plane and still hadn’t taken them out of her purse.Still really bad for both of them.I will be sad if Holly has to run from all this alone. Hope Lyn mutates and they can run away together till something happens to him. I love that line about the SHTF and the mature truck.Hope it’s not about to happen to the real world.

Well, I pegged this one. I don’t believe Holly has seen herself in a mirror yet; she looks too shocked by Lyn’s reaction to her.

Ethel may not have realized that she was a serpent, either. She told Holly that she couldn’t move her arms—not that she no longer had arms. I wonder how she was able to call Holly. Voice command on her phone?

Will Buddy Bombs see a mouse woman as “Bad”? I would hope not, but it looked to me as if about half of them might be left.

Panel 3 looks to me as though Lyn has just tripped and is starting to fall. Holly cries out in alarm, fearful for his safety.

I know this moment. Being informed something bad happened to someone you know, but not how bad, and you have to say, “But they’re going to get better, right?” before the informant has to admit that they are indeed dead and they’re not getting better. They don’t want to say it, and you don’t want to hear it. This is our moment of hopeful denial.

Mary had a little lamb, and Holly had a fish.It wallowed in a pool one day, which was against her wish. Now, Holly turned into a mouse when Lyn became a dad.But Lyn fell down and broke his crown, and Holly she was sad.

Oh, I get it! Lyn’s mutating into a mutant slinky. That explains his instinctual need to fall down stairs.

What if Lyn is alive? And Lyn has been living with the secret that he has been studying mutations for Apex. So he may have known they existed, but thought his little gated community in the sky was safe from the mutants. And now he has to live with the fear he brought the mutagen home from work. (Personally, I think the virus is slowly growing and spreading now, and it was Holly’s exposure to Ethel Etheridge’s mutation that exposed Holly. Holly may have picked up the mutagenic virus from Ethel, and it took a few days to grow enough in Host Holly before it spread enough to mutate her). And Apex is discretely providing Buddibombs to exposed people, in hopes the Buddibombs annihilate the virus. Instead, the explosion hides all evidence of mutation and any witness, with the unintended consequence of scattering the mutagenic virus everywhere. The atmosphere becomes so concentrated with mutagenic virus, which may have mutated to cause instant mutations in the near future, after enough mutants have been blown up, scattering the mutagen. I kind of think we need Lyn to live, and confess what he suspected, but wasn’t ready to accept. Maybe Apex can fix everything! Naah. Probably wouldn’t be a good idea to go thrm, or try to smuggle the secrets of the mutations out of Apex and take them to the Apex Spiegel newspaper. Maybe Apex Broadcasting Company. Wait. But I think Lyn lives, or maybe somebody close to him will come to Holly with the horrible truth, and smuggle her out of Dodge City through the Underground Mutant Express. I am still not sure BabyFish is dead. Maybe a desperate Holly loses the BabyFish at a casino. JusSpeculatin

Endtown needs an Art Bell. Art Bell was a late night radio host concentrating on such covered up topics like spontaneous human combustion, aliens and other thing the mainstream media, at the direction of their space alien masters who really run the world, is trying to keep covered up. Oh look! There is a celebrity!

Agreed. Lyn tripped and face-planted into the wall. Now we wait and see how badly injured he is.

Not sure how much of this Kirbee and Chic have witnessed. Wally motioned for them to stay in the hallway while he checked on Holly (fearing the worst). They saw Holly-now-the-mouse run past them as Lyn fled down the hall and stairs, but don’t fully know what’s happened yet. Kirbee is protective of Chic and may not let him see once Wally fills her in on what’s happened, sparing him the trauma of seeing the dead baby-fish.

I’ll go along with those who say Lyn took a hard fall on the stairs and slammed into the wall at the bottom. Stunned? Out cold? Dead? I can’t say…This could be the End of Part One of this storyline—-but it could go on a while yet—-it seems to be fairly early in the mutation game, and there’s much more implied elsewhere that hasn’t been shown. (Just what did go down at Pep Cola Stadium, that the mayor was a hero of?)
