Duke: Help me find my sneakers, Honey! My country needs me! Honey: It's too late, sir. Everything has changed since you've been gone. Duke: Gone? I didn't go anywhere! Did I? Honey: People are no longer tolerant of drug use. The cost has been too high. A lot of us now think it was wrong to look the other way! After Nancy Reagan's speech, I realized that I'd been remiss, that by standing idly during your self-destructive binges, I'd let you down as a friend. Duke: Yeah, well, don't lose any sleep over... Honey: I've turned you in, sir. Curtis: Hey, did you guys know the house was surrounded?

Just say no?

Ronnie Reagan, Mr. Law and Order, presided over the largest feeding frenzy at the government tit in history, but led the way in blaming the poor which Romney and his 47% comment continued and which has led to the current complete lack of governance by the GOP including the unprecedented situation with the Supreme Court nomination. “The presidency of Ronald Reagan in the United States was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any US president.” Facts? We don’t need no stinkin’ facts.

Just declare war on it, and you can beat it. That’s why there are no longer any drugs available in the US. We’ve now done the same with terrorism, and completely eradicated it, and….oh wait. Never mind.

I remember sitting in the U.S.Embassy in Costa Rica, the night Reagan was elected and having to fork over $100 for betting that the American voters weren’t stupid enough to elect a B actor President !I’m not betting against Rump Trump. The average American voter IS that stupid !

Reagan was deaf in one ear after an accident on a movie set. That’s more than being “a little deaf,” and it had nothing to do with his age.Reagan wasn’t stupid, but we’re all supposed to pretend that the Alzheimer’s didn’t affect him till after he left office, which clearly isn’t true. His mind was going while he was still president, but the handlers who profitted from his disability kept it as covered as possible.I’m not now and have never been a Reaganite, and I blame him for the mess we have now with right-wing religious conservatives trying to take over and corrupt everything they touch.

Such hatred in the ‘comics’ section. History can’t be rewritten no matter how bad the left wants it.

Honey learned well the lessons of Joe Friday and Nancy Reagan. If you really love that person who isn’t hurting themselves or anyone else, turn ’em in.

Duke, it would have been a lot easier just to sleep with her. Who knows, you might have both enjoyed it.

Of course, nobody could tell Nancy to “just say no” to creating a system that incarcerates a higher percentage of it’s population than any other developed country, and has a for-profit prison industry whose best interests are served by criminalizing as many people as possible.

The “war on drugs” has been perhaps the biggest waste of money this country has ever embarked upon. It has filled up the prisons and ruined countless lives, when a fraction of the money spent on treatment instead would have done much more good. But the right is always more focused on punishing people rather than helping them, especially when they can make a profit from it.

I’m waiting for my friend, David Huie Green, to come here and defend Reagan. DHG is a Democrat but he is a big fan of Reagan. He also is a strong supporter of Obama.

@leftwingpatriot“I’m waiting for my friend, David Huie Green, to come here and defend Reagan. DHG is a Democrat but he is a big fan of Reagan. And I think the first lady is most attractive — Nancy, not so much, but I agreed with her idea people could refuse to hurt themselves just to go along with the -pusher crowd..This time next year — assuming I’m not part of a radioactive dust cloud — I fully expect to be missing President Obama.
