Honey: Sir, I know you're probably thinking I've acted disloyally in turning you in to the authorities. But try to understand. You hadn't completed a sentence in months. I did it out of desperation. I missed you, sir. I missed the graceful, spirited man who first walked into my life ten years ago so I took matters into my own hands. In time, I think you'll thank me for... Duke: I've paid a large Mexican $50 to kill you.

I’m surprised he doesn’t leap over that shield and do it with his own bare hands…

uh, there’s a big difference between, “You might see something objectionable before we can take it down.” and “We expect swearing so it’s A-Okay.”

Hey, I’m a freeloader here. I don’t send any of my money to this website. All I do is enjoy the comic. And the person who pays the piper gets to call the tune. If I (or anybody else) doesn’t like the conditions, the solution is to go to another site, not to parse the rules like a lawyer.

Generally true. The debate between rehabilitation vs. punishment is an old one, but it seems to me that society has pretty well settled on the latter. It seems clear that there are some people for whom rehabilitation is an impossibility. There are also those whose crimes are so heinous that they have literally sacrificed their right to live amidst civilized society ever again. The trick, then, is to identify the remediable from the irredeemable, separate the two, and provide a means to rehabilitation for the former. Not an easy task.
