I like do carrot cake, if it’s a nice, light, fluffy sort of cake, and not that wet, heavy, gluey stuff with raisins in it.

And the grated carrots have to be peeled first…. some people can’t tell the difference…but I can….Even though I don’t peel peaches, potatoes or apples… I just don’t like the taste of carrot peel.

But I have to say…. a fourteen karat cake has another sort of a peel.

I will take carrot cake any day over lima bean cake.

Really? You like carrots LESS than rutabagas?

My husband makes the best carrot cake – from scratch. He takes it to potlucks and gets constant raves. There’s never a crumb left over. So, yes, I like carrot cake.

I LOVE Carrot Cake! But I have to be very careful when I eat other than my own. Some folks put walnuts or pecans in theirs, and I am literally deathly allergic to both those tree nuts.

Favorite dessert? I don’t know, I do know, that now that I have GERD, I can’t eat chocolate anymore, :-( because chocolate is one of the triggers for us poor folks who suffer from it.
