There are public restrooms in NYC. Don’t let Night-Gaunt scare you. As one example, everybody knows Starbucks has them.

China. There restrooms are squat toilets and don’t ask about the school restrooms or public ones let alone the ones on the train.

In some states, it’s possible for post-op TGs to get their birth certificates modified to show their assigned gender.Which will drive the potty police nut cases further over the edge.

Not quite true. If I go to a restaurant in New York, I’ll find a restroom.

If that’s the case, the bartender may want to take the empty glasses back as soon as the patrons are finished their drinks.

A child is abducted in the US every 15 seconds…. while i do NOT think tg’s will be abducting kids..i do think those that want to do so will take advantage of this to get at children ….

funny how no one ever talks about the very real risks to children.

    EDIT: with any luck

Why is luck needed? Adding ‘with any luck’ reduces the statement being made on the – how to enforce law – and the ignorance and prejudice of those who support it.

Translation:Pointing out bigotry is “political correctness”.The word “bigotry,” like “sexism,” “racism,” and “[fill-in-the-blank]-phobia,” appears to be one of those Humpty-Dumpty words that mean whatever I choose them to mean. Segregating multi-user restrooms by sex has been going on for a long time. Only recently has it been called “bigotry.”

Florida law says if you have a business open to the public you have to provide a public rest room. No “private only” no “purchase necessary” to use.

Many, many years ago I worked at a hotel in Flagstaff, Arizona that had a bar which was the favorite watering hole of Flagstaff’s movers and shaker, cowboys and collegiates and assorted local characters.

The restrooms had combination locks on the doors !

Ostensibly, because the restrooms were for the use of the patrons, only. In reality, it was to keep Navajos walking in off the street, from using them.

According to Governor McCrory (R – NC), the reason for the North Carolina “bathroom bill” is to protect little girls. We don’t want men who think they are women going to the little girls’ room. They should go to the little boys’ room.

Apparently (1) all transgender people are automatically sex offender and pedophiles, and (2) if they are, then why don’t little boys need protection?

You are all welcome to come visit us here in good ole North Carolina, as long as you are not gay, bi-sexual, transgendered, Muslim, a refugee, an immigrant (illegal or otherwise), Hispanic, a Yankee, a Democrat or a Catholic. Well heck, if you ain;t a right-wing, ultraconservative cross-burner, we don’t need you kind ‘round here. Y’all have a nice day now, y’hear?

Started putting in “unisex” bathrooms decades ago. It’’s also the cheapest way for someone to upgrade building bathrooms in old buildings to meet the Americans With Disabilities Act: you just need one unisex equipped to handle the disabled, and everyone ELSE!! It’s also called, a locking room.

Hey NC Geezer, do you know the meaning of the word Ultracrepidarianism? It means giving an opinion or advice on matters about which one knows nothing.

Do you know the difference between gay/lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender or even transvestite? I do. Do you actually know people who fit into any of the above categories? I do.

Do you personally know any Muslims? I do? Have you ever been to a mosque? I have. Have you ever read the Quran? I have (only parts and only in English – it’s a work in progress).

Do you know the difference between refugee status, asylum status and immigration status? I do.

Have you ever lived in a foreign country where not only do you not speak the language but you can’t even read the alphabet and no matter how intelligent you might be, you are illiterate? I have.

So when I express my opinion it’s based on personal observation. On what do your base your opinions: Wikipedia? < Citation Needed >.

NYC just passed a law requiring all single occupancy toilets to be unisex.Which is how it always should’ve been.I thought the discussion was about whether multi-user restrooms shoud be multisex, not whether single occupancy toilets should be unisex.
