It sounds like we just have to come up with a way to charge money for each picture if we ever want to stop the madness.

I remember my mom pointing to a picture in a photo album from my grandparents and saying, “My mom took this to use up the roll of film so she could go get it developed. But I don’t think she knew it was color! She’d have never wasted color film on just a silly shot of me.” But then, once taken, it had to go in the book a least…

Ah! Remember the first time you had a roll of color film? How precious, and how careful you had to be to consider each shot. As Water-Moon said, once taken, it had to go in an album. Heaven forbid it should get tossed out.

Why do people take pictures of their food and share it with others? Do other people HONESTLY want to know what they’re eating?
