Aside from the faces in the shrubs (there are enough to force me to order more meds), where that alligator is scares the Bejesus out of this male. Did Freud have a name for that phobia?
Actually, Dry, I think it’s a hedgehog☺
And Lew, just think when you are setting on the throne about the gaters that have been flushed. I found a toad in my bowl one day last spring, came up from the drain….ugh!!!☼

Really, do you think that will help? I wanted a swimming pool for my rubber duckie, but she doesn’t like alligators.

When you’re hip-deep in alligators, it’s difficult to remember that your initial objective was to… clean the pool?!?
EDIT: Thought of this too late (c/o Snoog Tees):

I dunno, methinks the gator is a bit scared of the face on that guy’s stomach. I know it scared me.

There’s an alligator in the shrub looking up at the sky.

I kinda like that boxer/weightlifter in the shrubbery. He’s got a friendly look to him. Even if he is rather green.

My favorite thing in the shrubbery is the, uh, we’re number 1 gesture.

Goodquestion look closer to the left, that’s the alligator. The hedgehog is in the middle of the hedge.
What possess’es people to buy baby alligators and bring them home in the first place?

Clark Kent, I read about the gator(s) found in the Chicago River, but also that one was found in NYC. Your cartoon is quite timely, Thom!

It could be a toy alligator? He should try to touch it and see what happens. It probably belongs to Junior.

We had two tree frogs inside our fireplace on the glass doors Sunday night. Have never seen that before. Cats went crazy.
