I sometimes feel like I’m the only person in the whole wide world who hasn’t seen Game of Thrones. Why, a Chemistry teacher of mine complimented one of the students for bringing a t-shirt about it even.

I haven’t watched a minute of that show. Not interested at all. I’ve heard it’s about some disgusting unending bloodshed or something

Winter is coming!!

If I wanted to see murder, blood, violence, rape and genocide, I’d just watch the evening news…

Game of thrones? Isn’t that something congressmen do in airport restrooms?

I’ll occasionally watch a few minutes of GOT; seems really boring. All they do is talk in stilted old English dialog.

Never understood why that show is so popular. It’s so disgusting.

Just because someone says something about a show doesn’t mean that you have to believe it. Seeing is believing, not hearing.

Fortunately, unlike the Fink, I neither read nor watched Game of Thrones and have no wish to.

So many replies. It makes me feel better that I’m not the only one who doesn’t watch that series. The same goes to The Walking Dead, another insanely popular TV series that I’ve never watched.

I’ve seen clips from it on Youtube, but I don’t watch TV anymore,and am not willing to pay for HBO.

I use one of our household thrones pretty much every day; however, I rarely consider it a game!

Gamey maybe, but never a game…

Problem with these unending series: the longer they are on the air and getting good ratings compared to other brainless shows, they eventually devolve into a Soap Opera! Unlike the British classics, based on really great authors stories: Midsomer Murders, Inspector Morse, Poirot, etc. At least at the BBC they know when to stop!

Indeed. Books are almost always more fun than the TV series or movies that follow. Such a shame that not many people like to read. They are missing so much.
