This one was originally published on June 15, 2011 and later reprinted in the book “Team Cul de Sac: Cartoonists Draw the Line at Parkinson’s”… definitely my proudest achievement as a cartoonist.
.
To quote Stacy Curtis: “(…) Richard Thompson, a true genius, a gentleman and the best cartoonist there ever was. Rest in peace”.
Oh, this is wonderful, thank you. The news is so sad, it will be hard to get through all the tributes. So, It’s totally me being dense, I see the nod to shoeboxes, Horace, and Alice, but I am lost at the “m” being shaken out. Could somebody help a low voltage bulb out?
Hanging upside down from the crown of Statue of Liberty. I wish to dream one night about Statue of Liberty…Artistic nice job! Also nice to notice, that you cartoonists participated together for that Parkinson’s disease campaign. Sad that the cure for that didn’t make it in time to help colleague.
