I used to eat shredded wheat plain out of the box. Later I had an epiphany and started using it in recipes instead of breadcrumbs. The stuffing I make for chicken has a nice crunch to it. And you’ll love my meatloaf.
I actually like dry shredded wheat better that having it in a bowl with milk. Somehow it doesn’t seem quite so bland that way. Though what’s better is Triscuits. Pretty much the same thing, but with a little salt.
My first encounter with Shredded Wheat was in Ireland. Loving cereals, but not familiar with Shredded Wheat (didn’t exist in the Netherlands at that time) I enthousiastically bought a large box. I didn’t enjoy it… Luckily there was a large groups of ducks residing next to our camping site and they loved Shredded Wheat!

Brian is a genius when it comes to writing Pickles. How he comes up with the stuff he does is amazing. I simply love this strip.

I’m the kind of person that would say “Yuck!”, and then still proceed to grab some, since it’s free food.

Does anyone remember the ‘mock apple pie’ made with Ritz crackers ? It really did taste like real apple pie.

I don’t believe Earl actually had Oreos in the box. If he did his mustache would have telltale black crumbs in it.
