Heart: No, mother, we have to get caught up on "fiance nightmares" and watch the finale of "Bachelor in dubuque"! Mom: Oh my gosh...is this what we've become? Is this all we have to look forward to? Two biddies sitting around, arguing over the DVR show viewing order? Mom: Oh, that reminds me. I recorded "Grey gardens." Heart: Cool! They should make that into a series.

Psst! Ladies, reality shows are what networks put on to fill time so they can focus their resources on scripted shows. Except for cable channels which are nothing but reality shows.

I did not love Grey Gardens. Really depressing. Reminds me a lot of What ever happened to baby Jane. I did like the take off on Grey Gardens that Fred Armisen did.

Oh, my. A television series about “Grey Gardens.” They shoot one episode, then repeat it every week for a full season. You’d feel like you were living the life of a Beale — one day just like the next.
