So why live there, if your work doesn’t tie you to any particular location.

A little touch of grey, kind of suits you anyway.

    My father was from Sacramento.

Frequent and copious amounts of eye drops (prednisone is your friend), to flush the nasty little pollen grains out of yer eyeballs, combined with overlapped use of one of the 3 common OTC antihistamines (zyrtec, clariten, allegra generics), topped off w/ some routine saline nose flushing will make you a hit at the party as you snot your way thru a box of tissue… Gadzooks! what a PIA!

in a Darwinian alternate world, would people w/ allergies have an evolutionary advantage? or a disadvantage? Points to ponder while waiting for the allergist to poke you w/ foreign substances to provoke your body to make little antibody molecules… On, on!

My parents’ tree in the Bay Area produced nice plums. Also Prometheus moth cocoons. They’d hatch out into huge four-inch moths.

The orange trees are terrific. The mulberry trees are the ones that has everyone weeping through spring.

Carol Lay is both a good artist and inspired writer. I have loved everyone of her creations with their own charm, intelligence and acumen with the driest, drollest of humor.
