Once we stop mining it and burning it he can have all the coal he wants—-though there are lots of fossils in them. Mostly from the 150’ trees of the Carboniferous Period which ends in an Ice Age killing off most, but not all of the massive forests that later became coal.
OK, this is a plea for help. I’m going to try a return character after the period at the end of this sentence. Now I’m going to try 2 of them at the end of this one.
December 25, 2016: President-Elect Trump issues tweet labeling those responsible for dumping coal all over his properties as terrorists; vows to take out ISIS (Institute for Santa’s International Sleighride) once he enters the Oval Office through expanded global warming and a trade tariff on goods coming from the North Pole. Children everywhere demand that Donald have a time out.
When I was in my early teens, a looonnnng time ago, all houses were heated by coal, trains ran on coal (steam engines), all power plants were coal; and the Winters were much colder and wetter (snow). This CO2 global warming is just BS!
To bring back “coal jobs” Trump will have to end mountain top removal, and all the technical improvements and robotics that took the jobs away, going back to the industry as it operated in the early 1950’s! We’re still selling and burning lots of coal, the company CEOs and shareholders are doing fine, it’s the miners paying the price of “progress”.
But when coal is polished, it looks just like black onyx. One tine I bought my husband a pair of cufflinks made out of PA coal. He got a kick out of telling people he got coal for Christmas.

Four miles east of here there is a railroad with a coal train every few hours feeding a big power plant up in Wisconsin.

the 47% of the eligible voters who did not vote deserve coal almost as much as the candidates.

(Cue the left and the right whining that it’s the OTHER people who get coal, and this is why.)

I know lots of people who’ll be getting coal for Christmas…the malefactors who started those stupid protests.

“Coal… more coal… lots and lots of coal….”

Trump investing in the future? Hasn’t he heard of more modern alternatives. It could also probably be imported more cheaply too, but don’t tell Donny.

So this is how the GOP will bring all the coal jobs back to West Virginia, eh?
lindz.coop Premium Member about 8 years ago
Yup…Trump wants to expand the coal industry.

This is the only way any more mines will reopen in West Virginia. While this may strike many as humorous, it is truly sad.
