We try to clean up Washington D.C., but we just end up making it worse.

HEY NATE! All his principle appointees he’s looking at so far are all lobbyists and the prime inhabitants of the swamp! You MIGHT want to take a look at ’em yourself on something other than Brightbart or Fox.

You know the Hillary signs will be easy to pick up…all six of them…

I wonder what people like Nate will be saying in a year or two – if it even takes that long for the penny to drop.

Once they get all the Fall leaflets and lawn rubbish raked into a pile, I guess that they can have a big Bonfire of the Vanities ?

We all know that there will be a sign or two still on some property come spring, and summer, and probably into autumn next year. All the while this is not legal but no one will do anything about it simply because they don’t want to. “Well we don’t know who’s responsible.”

Surprisingly, this year there were fewer and smaller political signs in yards than ever before. And, they came down immediately. According to the local ordinance candidates have to have them removed in a short time and they were.

….back to the cartoon (again?)….. is that Capt’n Eddie on the right next to the tree? The lobsta catch must be wantin’?

I’m trying to feel sorry for the folks who voted for Trump, but it’s difficult. He’s going to do what his one percenters, insiders and lobbyists want. Not the rust belt and fly over folks. Geeze. Didn’t they see that coming?

Remember when comments on the Comics were bad puns

Most of the Hillary signs around me were stolen well before the election.

Either way, you still end up with a big pile of trash.

It is fair that some do not support Trump, but to continue the swamp metaphor, even someone who plans to drain the swamp may need a guide while the operation is beginning.

The dems around here haven’t picked up anything.I guess they are waiting ,like they always do,on the tax payer’s to pay for them.

I agree with Wiley 100%. For a week before election day, I was looking forward to the political ads and phone calls stopping. There weren’t a lot of signs this year, but even web sites were oozing political ads.

…and then when he was smug about not paying income tax.

One of our local winners still had a sign along a public highway. Fortunately I had enough saliva to hawk up a big one and I thusly gifted the schmuck with it. It was much too open an area to really ‘mark’ it.

The good news is that all those signs can be recycled and put to good use. The bad news is that the same can’t be said for all of the hot air that was generated.

From now on I’m flagging any post with the words “Cankles”, “Killary”, or any variations thereof with extreme prejudice. The election is over. Go home, Nate! You’re drunk! (Or power-mad; kinda hard to tell the difference these days…)
