Caption: This ordinary fire drill suddenly required deployment of a clean-up crew.
Nurse: The doctor has asked everyone to evacuate right now! Let's hurry!
OK, this is a plea for help. I’m going to try a return character after the period at the end of this sentence. Now I’m going to try 2 of them at the end of this one.
Fire drills. You jump off your stool and it all hits the fan and then you’re just going through the motions. Eventually, there’ll be light at the end of the tunnel.
… so, the two returns create a single line return, and the period validates it as a legitimate line with text. And of course, the double line return after the period is validated by the genuine last line of text.
Actually, I should have said it doesn’t handle the carriage return sequence generated by the Enter key. The Enter key is coded for ASCII control 13, carriage return, not ASCII 10 Line Feed.
How is all that cumbersome “talk the machine through what it once did on its WYSIWYG own” doing on the spam front. I see about as much as I did before. Size of post limits have served well enough, with very few needing to double post to get proper documentation, but the rest is just a nuisance.

I want everyone to watch their language here in regard to any comments being left. I’d hate to have to accuse someone of being a potty-mouth.

The medical meaning of “evacuate” includes “discharge waste from the body.”
