Wow, you went from having a stuffed tiger when you were his age to custodian and years from now, a radio talk-show host!

A reference to the TV series Frasier (1993–2004), a spin-off from Cheers.

Politics aside, you are a criminal after you are convicted.

You are a criminal when you commit a crime. Has nothing to do with indictments or convictions.

So is Frazz pronounced with a long “A” like in Frazier? I’ve been saying it with an “A” as in “Apple” all this time.

So, Frazz is advocating the stance that, “I didn’t do anything wrong if I don’t get caught”? That does not sound in character for him.

Yes, for the press it’s you’re guilty until whenever we say you’re unindicted.

You can’t say ‘not legal’ you have to say ‘undocumented’.

If a cop pulls me over for 75 in a 55 zone, but for some unexplained reason just gives me a warning, I was still a speeder, lack of ‘charges’ notwithstanding.

I appreciate the recent streak of non-smug “Frazz” strips.

I once read about a guy who got off because the cops mistakenly used his nickname on an arrest warrant instead of his legal name. He didn’t challenge it until after he’d been tried and convicted. Apparently the way the double-jeopardy laws were at the time, they couldn’t retry him under his legal name.

Any alias/avatar/screenname is legal until whichever name does something illegal, like fraud.

You are a criminal in the sight of the law only after conviction. Of course, considering The Leader’s respect for the law. it will be a moot point under the junta. You will be a criminal if an anonymous someone tweets that you are.

I think the point of this punch line is about how “indicted” is not pronounced the way it’s spelled.
