My daughter’s 8 years as a jail nurse made a big impression in my view of jail inmates. More than half are there as a product of uncontrolled mental illness, especially bipolar disorder. One bipolar woman was compliant on all four of her drugs and was only stable a few hours a week. Alcohol and drugs account for most of the rest. Prison is a very different matter, but I have real sympathy for those who would much rather be normal. Maybe Johnny Cash had a good point about his dressing in black.
Point to remember, the Spook was never a violent offender. In fact, wasn’t he first jailed for writing, “The King is a Fink”? Political Prisoner Number 1.

Aww, he gave the poor prisoner a dinner to remember. It’s a bit late in date, but it was worth seeing this.

Prison guards often have to do their holidays later than most folks.

Quite a modern home for a middle-ages castle guard. You think they have granite counters? (heh heh).
