TJ cooks for his friends, remodels their home, protects their privacy with soundproofing, watches their de facto kid and engages her when others can’t, planned their entire wedding and found them discounts, and even got Toni’s worthless brother to work, and yet people still hate him? I bet if he performed a miraculous healing somebody would accuse him of undercutting the healthcare system.

Actually, some recipes don’t seem to work as well if you cut them down, so if it’s designed to feed three, you can’t always make it for two and have it come out right.

No fire department I have ever seen schedules like that. One on, two off, unless you are taking someone’s shift. They should be home together every third day. Oh right, I forgot, this is the comics.

I’m new to the strip and don’t know what TJ has done in the past to make him so hated but it seems to me that neither Toni or Brad are great cooks and they will be seeing each other at work more than home. He is also a good babysitter for Shannon.

TJ is welcome to move in with my husband and me. I could use someone who cleans and cooks. Actually, I enjoy cooking, but it would be nice to have someone unpaid who cleans and cooks delicious meals so I can concentrate on work and comics.

Hmm. Not much to say. Seems rather normal and regular to me, so no additional comments on the comic.

However, Schrodinger’s Dog has stated that the “beta” site is going live next week. For those of you who have explored the site (I have tried to remain blissfully unaware as long as possible about the “beta” site.)…. now that it is almost upon us… would anyone who has tried it out like to us their impressions of what to anticipate in terms of commenting?

I guess my LEAST FAVORITE CHANGE is how to view and read my comics. I have to click and click and click to see different ones? I MUCH prefer the old style where my whole batch of comics is sequentially shown from top to bottom without having to click and click and click.

I don’t think some of the commenters understand when they say cook for three and the third person can eat when the get home, that firefighters work 24 hour shifts. So the days Brad is gone for three days, those left overs aren’t going to be so great. And it appears most of TJ’s home cooking is more gourmet which usually doesn’t taste good the second time around.

Here’s what most fire fighters work. 24 on 48 off. Sorry Gom that doesn’t mean 3 days on. Pay varies but if our newly weds worked for the County of Orange they would be making $72,000 a year apiece. Also I doubt that there has been a tract house built in California since1950 that doesn’t have two bathrooms (at least). However this is fiction and the way it’s written keeps the story moving along.

Maybe TJ can become the firehouse cook for a 2nd job. I’m guessing most firefighters are not much into cooking. But they may return from a job hungry. TJ could have his hands full there.

I recall Toni and Brad agreed to take different shifts so that at least one of them would be home to sit for Shannon if that were needed, but not too much, hopefully, as Jonah has vowed to reform himself and make fewer demands on their time.

    Ken Hense said,

“Reality Check – Can ANYONE stand this much organization???”

    .

    I can.

But then, I’m a very tolerant person.

    .

Consider the fact that you can organize alphabetically based on the third letter from the right, then the fourth from the left, then the fifth from the right, then the last letter, then the first.

It would be very orderly and — like the TJ schedule — senseless.

(Or would it? You could develop an interesting cypher using it.)

Physical letters often get the most attention.

Go Comics is part of Universal Uclick, an Andrews McMeel Universal company. The address for your letters is

    .

1130 Walnut St. Kansas City, Missouri 64106

    .

    http://www.amuniversal.com/amu/AMU_Leadership.htm

    .

Save this. You might well want to make notes with all of your suggestions over multiple days first.
