I’d be tempted to punch them each in the mouth.

I had no idea that we were assigned specific movie talkers. I thought people were just being rude in general.

That’s why I only go to Alamo Drafthouse where they efficiently toss talkers and cell phone users.

What did Captain Ruiz do? Have them arrested for disturbing her peace?

I’m assuming the names of the four are Joel, Mike, Tom and Crow.

rudeness in general, talking on cell phones(loudly) both reasons why wife and I never go to movies. Not even the meal and a movie where they have tables so you can eat(and talk loudly) Biggest reason is that I have to wear ear plugs to get the sound down to a level that, while still too loud, I can hear without pain. And I have to wear hearing aids due to being very hard of hearing. Except when watching movies

The best way to see a popular movie is to wait a few weeks and don’t go on weekends. And if you make it a matinee, you might even have the theater all to yourself!

I went to see THE RETURN OF ATOR or something like that. HORRIBLE MOVIE. so bad in fact that everybody was getting up to leave when I started heckling it, not unlike Mystery Science Theater — which came much later. The people who were leaving stopped and sat back down and we all went to heckling it. Afterward, one thanked me and said I saved the movie for him otherwise he he would have wasted his money but this way he was entertained.

Not to say do it normally, but we all agreed this one begged for it.

We have been going to a neighborhood theater since the chains changed their seating. We go to a movie around 9:30pm Saturday night and often are the only ones in the theater, even on the first Saturday night of the movie. We have only been to 2 movies where there were people near us and at only one of them was anyone talking – they were too stupid to understand “Arrival” and were discussing what was going on.

It is wonderful. We are movie fans and go at least weekly – for awhile we went Saturday nights and Monday afternoons, the latter being a classic film program. The most movies we ever saw in one week was 15 – there was a Robert Altman festival and there were 3 movies a night and we went to all of them.

OK, henceforth ask Crunchy and Ruiz to double-date on movie nights.
