I’m not sure who’s on the learning curve, but cave sharing with the “Bear”, literally or figuratively, is more of a slippery slope for those who wish to cuddle up to it.
Brilliant, Wiley. A well drawn cartoon, like well written poetry, can be interpreted and enjoyed on many different levels – even ones the originator never intended.
What disturbs me is that this is the same message we’ve been getting from the conservatives since the election. Amazing how few people showed up for the inauguration ceremony. The protest tomorrow will probably draw more crowds.
Excellent cartoon, because it works on more than one level. For those who need the deeper level spelled out, note that this cartoon is being published on January 20th, and some people are urging us to give “the benefit of the doubt” to the blatantly compromised and clearly unqualified con man who is taking office this same day.

The bear might enjoy his meal today, but will the rest of us enjoy what we’re going to have to swallow?

Let the Russians enjoy rump’s inauguration. There’s not much else to enjoy in Russia this time of year; or in Sarah Palin’s backyard.

You don’t have to run faster than the bear, just faster than the guy beside you. Unless you’re alone that is.

They’ll be OK, for a while. The bear will save them for a midwinter snack.
