I miss the days when this strip’s humor was based on the characters doing and saying funny things…nowadays it’s all about stupid, awkwardly-set-up puns and forced wordplay. Ugh.

We mixed “Nutrina” and canned mackerel (oval tins) in the kennel.

I don’t get the can scanning either, but this is Bucky we’re talking about so it isn’t supposed to scan. Hmm. Think I’ll take a nap.

Can scanning is like dumpster diving. Nightmare on Elm Street.

On Monday, Bucky found the head of a salmon while can scanning, or dumpster diving, on Elm street where Freddy Krueger left it.
