Err….it WAS Snowfall we forecasted?

That’s OK, we’re forecasting anthropomorphic global warming tomorrow. This tower will be the only thing above sea level tomorrow, mark my words.

The groundhog is getting extra quilts.

There are some places in CA where the snow is up to the ski lifts. Once place has 50’ of snow. OMG!

Weather men and politicians: they get paid right or, as is more often the case, wrong. Except In the Kingdom of Id

Only in ID are there negative consequences for weather forecasters.

I didn’t get it at first, because it looked like there was only a bit of snow, based on the appearance of the king. But after I looked closely, I realized the intended humour – they got a HUGE snowfall.

SOP in Wisconsin. You can try, but you can’t fool Mother Nature. Now the local TV news has their weather-Rasputin on twice. First the tease, then the Best Guess 10-minutes later. After two semesters and a summer job, I decided meteorology was too boring, and I switched to EE … first job programmer, second job customer traffic loads forecasting and I helped Ma Bell to make billion$.

That’s what you get when you ask someone to multi-task.

Weather forecasters can be wrong 50% of the time and keep their jobs. It is a law the Global Warming experts made and was approved by Al Gore’s congress.

Climate is what you expect; weather is what you get.

Neither affects the other — other than the fact the weather which happens most commonly is called climate and climate tells what will be the most common weather.
