My favourite part of the weekend. Reading the funnies, print or digital, and a kitty or two using me for a pillow, bed or perch. (The kitten likes to perch, act like a vulture, really, on my right shoulder)
Cat firmly ensconced across my thighs, sleeping soundly as I watch TV in the recliner. I have to give warning that I’m lowering the footrest to get up. She wakes up, meows a little in protest then gets her legs going in the right direction and jumps down as I lower the footrest. I dumped her off once before she was ready and she stuck in the grappling hooks, trying not to fall. Ergo, the warning!
