Tracy seems unconvinced.

So, Middle Margie (real name Margaret Thatcher, like the former UK PM) is not there for some unexplained reason, likely because the “guy” in the hood was not a guy at all.

Tracy could conceivably crack this case ‘very’ quickly, but I want an attempted escape, plus use of the ‘Buster-Bot’ before the wrap-up.

I had hoped for a least one red herring in this.

Little Margie nearly ruined the story that Big Margie is spinning. The story will unravel once Dick Tracy had a chance to chat with Little Margie.

Whatever Little Margie was going to say in the second panel, I think it’s best for the 3 Margies’ operation that she didn’t get to say it. I’m still wondering if she’ll give them away at some point. Maybe Big Margie has her under control.

Looking at Dick’s face I would say he’s not buying it…..

Will that other cousin abscond with the dough ?

Methinks someone other than Middle Margie has the loot…..

The letters on ‘Little Margie’s’ shirt have corrected themselves.

“Iron Margie” doesn’t come to mind?

Little Margie got nervous once Big Margie mentioned the gun…I wonder if Middle Margie wasn’t meant to carry one…o,o

For the record, ‘Dick Tracy’ is up 40 Subscribers since this story began.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but where are they coming from, I wonder …?

Is there any significance to the three last names? I’ve been trying to think of one and I can’t.

I also wonder why Tracy seems skeptical. The story seems completely plausible, and fits the known facts.

The thief was wearing a mask, so why is Big Margie certain the thief was male? Why mention the cousin who is not present? Big Margie will regret her big mouth. Tracy senses that all is not right.

I’ve got it! The real brains of the heist is the person that each of these Margies are named after – “Grandma Margie”! ROFL

Am I the only 1 who thinks Little Margie looks like a guy with a pony tail???

I think Little Margie wants to tell her cousin that she found Middle Margie—and she’s not doing well at all.

I’m sure Tracy gives the fisheye to everyone he questions – especially if they knew where the money was, and seem pretty calm after being robbed at gunpoint.

I think Little Margie has good news/bad news for Big Margie. Good news: they aren’t going to jail. Bad news: that wasn’t Middle Margie who pointed the gun at her. I bet Middle Margie is all dressed up and with no one to rob.

Big Margie didn’t incriminate herself too much by mentioning Middle Margie, since they seem to be important staff members, and someone would be likely to mention her and Little Margie. And mention that no one had seen MM.

I can tell what can tell what Tracy is thinking …. “Once I was going after great villains — Flat Top, Prune Face, Mumbles …. Now I’m reduced to catching witless small time crooks at a Halloween party 6 months early … where did I go wrong?”

So, the three Margies are cousins rather than sisters. Big Legase, Little Rogalla, and Middle Thatcher. Well, that clarifies some things. But the basic plot is still the same, with Big as the brains and Little as the weak link (she’s already almost blabbed something that would probably have got Tracy’s attention quickly). I have cousins with my first name, too (though not immediate, first cousins), just as I had a great-uncle with my name, which was also my great-grandfather’s name.

It’s not unusual….

I am not so sure Tracy is overly suspicious yet. I expect Honeymoon will present more evidence (maybe even, with Astor’s help, present Middle Margie Thatcher).

Late in the day, and hopefully someone has already mentioned it: Margie Thatcher and Margaret Thatcher!
