I had a cat years ago who stashed objects. Woke up one morning just in time to see her jumping off the night table with my watch in her mouth.
It would have been a whole different conversation if she had found a dead mouse on her pillow. A ghost would have never entered her mind.
Usually Rosco gets blamed foe the stuff that Muffins does.

Our German shepherd used to bring us snakes as presents. Quite often he didn’t kill them first. Stepping outside was always a potential adventure.
