Five seconds of action, thirty second break.
Five seconds of action, thirty second break.
Five seconds of action, thirty second break.
Punt.
Two minutes of commercials.
Repeat for three hours.
What could possibly be boring about that?
Did you ever wonder if any TV director ever played the game that they direct for broadcast. They seem to universally select the most technical shot of a play (Tight shot of QB, center and maybe a guard for the snap) and as tight a shot as possible of the run or pass. When you are at a game you see where the other players are doing on the field (open receiver not seen by QB, collapsing DE opening a hole or the flow of a kicking play) these are never shown in replays, only loops of the tightest shots.
Anybody aware of a drinking game where you guess how many plays will be executed before the next commercial break? Often the number is “zero”; it has even happened twice in a row.
…Alabama_Al …college football, for one…baseball,is constant action..if you love baseball…the NFL is all production values..flash,bright/pretty colors graphic graphics graphics..there is as much action and entertainment in the video game version..same commentators bland comments.Unsportsman like conduct all almost every play(come on..doing the funky chicken after you tackle someone that just gained 30 yards). So,if you are watching the NFL on Tv luckily these Tv extras can entertain you…

“3hourtour”, I’m curious: which sport(s) do you consider not to be boring on TV?
