Sure trains can go back and forth like that. They have a forward and a reverse. There’s just not a lot of need for them to do it by design.
I get the reference, but my age shows in that “Michael Bay express” easily became “Marrakesh Express” and now I’ve got that song playing on my memory turntable.
Or Amtrak…
