Calvin better be careful or his Mom might do a Sherman’s March on his butt.

Today is 9/11.
There’s a small catch to seceding, Calvin. Your parents control the food, the bed, the house, the horizontal, etc …
Reminds me of that news story of the boy in the early eighties who “divorced” his parents. Of course, that kid was 11; Calvin’s half his age.
Amazingly, Calvin was born to his parents because they wanted him (at least at the time).
I’ve heard quite a few C&H fans say this is one of their favorite story arcs. This will be my first time reading it so I’m excited.
I concur with the others. Move your fanny out. You will soon get a taste of reality. Residing near the gulf coast comes with a hefty price tag.
Maybe they’ll disown you.
In many people’s lives there comes a time when they must decide which is more important. Their sanity or family.
Hobbes is on to them.
If you succeed and your parents boot you out of the house, you can always go live with Susie – and Hobbes can have all the smoochies he wants!
Reminds me of the ’80s movie where Drew Barrymore wanted to “divorce” her parents.
Get ready for one of the most well-known story arcs in C&H.
We’ve all been there
Yes, and in this case, the “plotting and planning” was ALL the fun!
Why did you even have me?
Well, I didn’t know it was going to be you!!
In my opinion, Family is not just blood.
Family is those who care and love you.
Off topic, I know.

I don’t know many six year olds who know the word totalitarianism. Or know the meaning of it. Calvin may hate school, but I wonder if he spends a lot of time looking at a Thesaurus? Weird kid.
