Nice to see Shannon and Toni again. I think troll snarking about Spongebob and ESPN is pretty silly. I suppose that would be brilliant product positioning to mention them in a comic read mostly by olderer dudes, and dudettes. Just saying or not. Shannon could adjust anyway.
Sorry to see that Shannon is calling Brad ‘Bwad’ again. She used to use that name when she was sulking about her father leaving her with Toni and Brad, but she seemed to have grown to trust Brad. I guess she’s regressing…
If I was in that situation, I might have told Shannon “We watch C-Span.” Except Shannon would be smart enough to turn on the TV and see what station it was on.
Of course, she sees the FUN stuff around, which is very normal. There’s an escalator for the building we’re in, as it’s a big building with a lot of different offices (it’s not a mall). She doesn’t know the weight of the job involved, so now they can, perhaps, educate Shannon a bit.

Shannon’s aunt and uncle sure live the life.

OK Spongebob and ESPN, time to write those product placement checks to Evans.

And that’s how “Take Your Child to Work Day” was killed.

Shannon sure looks different. Her eyebrows are much thinner now. It makes her look less sulky.

“Two weeks later” in a French accent.

You had me at ‘ice cream’!

Shannon is speaking in pink.
So obviously the ice cream she just ate was strawberry.

They better hide the station’s Dalmatian. A few minutes with Shannon and the pup will never trust another child again.

Why is Brad vacuuming the driveway? Next he will be polishing the bushes.

Shannon is a first grader. I don’t remember that being in the Meet the Gang information before.
So how many emergency phone numbers does the school have?
Dad, of course, is missing. Toni is out on a fire. Brad is alone on duty manning the station while the others are out checking fire plugs.
Who is next, and by now we would be reading the Saturday strip.

I would take ESPN out of the discussion; it is not a sport show, but and extension of the liberal “Fake” media.

So if there’s a fire and they all need to leave, who’s going to look after Shannon?

Greg’s drawing keeps getting better, but the story lines are too scrambled.

Shannon is looking at least a year younger, and calls Brad “Bwad”, therefore… it must be Sunday.

Sadly, Sponge Bob is more mentally demanding than ESPN.

Still talking like a 4-year-old, huh? I’m starting to think there’s a reason she has no friends her own age…

Sorry, Bwad, but your “fix” won’t work. Shannon will just change the channel to SpongeBob when she becomes a firefighter….

Good to see Toni again — Shannon, not so much. A very little bit of Shannon goes a very long way.
