Any active style will be useful. You don’t have to convince the bullies you can beat them. Just convince them they can’t beat you without getting their own bruises, and they will leave you alone.
My granddaughter wanted to learn martial arts. I tried to teach her but she kept complaining that I was not teaching her strikes but blocks. So we signed her up for a class and a month later, I asked her what she learned and then pointed out that all she had learned was blocks, same as I tried to teach her.

In that case, Krav Maga or Muay Thai would be better.
Although for proper discipline, there’s nothing like aikido or kusthi.
Though street boxing is always useful.

it is hard, I signed my grandkids up and it’s not just learning the moves you have to remember the names of each move.
