I am ashamed of myself for doubting Silver… he really meant well for his sister, Sprocket. I hope that things will turn out right for Sprocket. I am sure that Tracy will somehow get to her in the end but I am really hoping it will not be a tragic end.
Well at least Bea got back some of her cash. Public Domain is headed for THE BIG HOUSE where he might get a chance to settle a score with Silver Nitrate. Meanwhile looks like Sprocket Nitrate made good on her escape to respectability (with a $125,000 dowry if needed).
Just wanted to let everyone know that our brave little Fiddler’s heart finally gave out yesterday morning. He fought so hard but just couldn’t overcome this last bout with the lung condition he was dealing with. We’re totally devastated over this. My family and I were so encouraged by your prayers, words of encouragement and support these past few months. We will never forget.
While I’m glad Sprocket got away I must admit this story’s climax didn’t have the fireworks I was expecting. Still, it represented of the better efforts in recent times. Very excited to see what comes next (Maybe Bribery & Ugly Christine’s niece?)
It’s a nice backgrounder portion of the finishing of this story (but, it ain’t over ‘til it’s over!), though not IMO necessary.
Did Susan, with beau Adam, get away clean? Is anyone, on either side of the law, after her or them? Will Bea just write off her financial loss and not press for any further investigation?
And, speaking (as JONAHHEX1 was) of people being safe, or not, in prison, is Public Domain safe in there?
I was going to try to post my wrap-up of this story tomorrow (later tonight) but i seem to have a bad cough and cold all of a sudden and I didn’t get it done. I’m going to bed early and I’m going to try to work on it tomorrow.

Also too bad Bea private “Holy Grail” has come to naught.

Bea’s love of history outweighs any fondness for cold, hard cash.

Bea is of the kind of people who work and strive to preserve the memory and artifacts of the past.

It is nice to be rich enough to not care about money. We should all be that way.

Bea is sad and simpers. Tracy sips tea.
