I really like the artistic close-up treatment in the third panel. Very effective.

Looks like Sawtooth is a laying a trap for Tracy

I think the next thing Bribery will say is “I’m distressed because your going to fail like so many others have.”

Is that right, Mr. Rose? Can he do it? I hope so, your so kind, Mr. Rose."

Ah. Bribery at the desk with his rose. It doesn’t get any better than that. (All that’s missing is Kitty on his shoulders.)

Bribery mentions having to wait and “keep a low profile.” So is he going to slip out of town again? This almost feels like we may cut away to something new tomorrow. The Moon Governor, perhaps?

One of those slow traps to give Tracy a chance to escape.

Actually, Tracy unlikely to fall into it with “Thunderbolt” feeding him every word of it in advance. Sawtooth is a scary character, but having a police officer embeddedl next to him takes away from that in a big way. To me, though. since they KNOW where Bribery is now, and he is wanted on first degree murder charges, among other things… why on earth don’t they go pick him up???

Here comes The clincher.

Does keeping a low profile include going to public movie theaters where he just happens to cross paths with Tracy?

We are really being stretched out with the slow exposition of Sawtooth’s “deliciously cruel” plan for Tracy’s death—and only to Mr. Bribery and not to us, at that! But, since Sawtooth has been identified as a West Coast gunman, and since he has those distinctive jaws and teeth, I can imagine some pretty gruesome scenarios. If Mr. B can lay low for a bit, indeed we can wait, too.

I guess we have time to stop and smell the roses….

@gweedo Replying to your comment late last night, I’m expecting the T-Bolt character to be retired once Bribery is caught, but I doubt that Lee Ebony is planning to be a desk jockey anytime soon.
