This reminds me of a company that shall remain nameless (USCO Logistics) that I used to work for many years ago. They had a policy about tardiness. First offence a verbal notice. Second offence a written notice. Third offence suspension. Now I’m always in at least an hour early but this one time I was late. Expecting to get a verbal warning my supervisor came down to see me and asked me to sign a “written” verbal warning. I looked at him like he was nuts and promptly quit the company.
