several years back, s friend from work invited me to a vegetarian potluck Thanksgiving hosted by the 7th day Adventist Church (she was a member of the church) – There were many wonderful dishes that you would swear were meat, both in texture and taste, but not even those devout vegetarians would eat the “tofurky” that one of the other guests brought.

The use of veggies to replace meat has come along way in the last 50 years. I had some meatballs recently that you couldn’t tell were not meat.

Tofu has no flavor. It takes on the flavor of the foods around it. It is good for you.
