The books to the left on the top and bottom shelves are red,not so on the middle shelf. Did the spirit take the end book or books on the left side AND the book end of the middle shelf?
@keltll: thanks for that. Being a tech semi-luddite has its disadvantages. But now that I know what that was, and since I don’t use social media at all, I guess it is knowledge to be 86’ed, along with the lyrics of most modern music, and anything to do with politicians and other actors in the entertainment field.
The strip has gotten weird and obtuse under its current creator. It’s an entirely different theme from the Kingdom of Id as was, and the hybrid is unfortunate. I’m leaving.
Some smartphone apps do this with their screen icon. Both Facebook and Linked-in tell you how many new messages you have. I have one from “Boss Revolution” (cheap long distance) for which it is impossible to clear the counter.
