Surprise, surprise!!!

If my memory is right, didn’t Honeymoon zap Mr. Bribery (light him up) during a battle at a Blackhearts HQ? I think he called her a mini Moon Maid. If Honeymoon mentions Ugly Crystal to Grandpa Pop Pop I wonder if he’ll make the name connection.

That news turned Bribery’s frown upside-down.

Or Vice Versa.

Now THAT’s a shocked look like we’ve rarely seen on ol’ Bribery! And yes, his smile is inverted.

Guess there’s more than one way to shock Bribery…..

Have the faces of the Uglies ever been shown?

Unwanted development with a upside down smile to boot!!! LOL!!! A little rain on his parade!!!

Aaaaaaand so much for good to be back home. (I have the feeling Ugly Crystal is about to turn all that “refinement” she learned in boarding school against her uncle…)

The last panel needs a dramatic chord.

Bribery’s look in the third panel has my brain stuck on something from years ago. “Turn that frown upside down!” I used to hear that from my son at age five. It’s easy to guess that he got it from his teacher.

Quite an abrupt change of mood,n’est-ce pas?

I think that this is the first time I have ever seen a drawing of Mr. Bribery without that stupid grin on his face.

“Morning jog”. So first we have to assume that this mall was open early for the Christmas season (usually it would be 10 am).

Then, where is the very-recognizable Bribery going to be taking his jog?

Neil Wick called it yesterday (practically verbatim):

Inevitably, there will be a “so, how was your trip to the mall?”

Oh I wouldn’t have missed that last panel for anything! Way to go Team Tracy! I loved it!(pours the team a glass of her grandma’s special egg nog.)

Oh to have some silly sound effects to go with that last panel.

Such a jogging! Poor Mr. Bribery, shocked right out of his running shorts (metaphorically)! I wonder how Crystal (most people call her Ugly Crystal) will in turn react to her uncle’s striking reaction to her mention of Honeymoon? This is not just an idle question. Her reaction may set the tone for her future behavior in this story: good girl or Bribery-baddie?

Surely a wanted man like Bribery doesn’t jog at the pubic park.

If Bribery hadn’t already met Honeymoon, his reaction would have been one of joy, since he’ll had a chance to kidnap her for ransom by tricking Crystal to invite her over for a visit.

So…..is Bribery his first name, or surname? Asking because UC refers to him as ‘Uncle Bribery’ and usually an uncle is referred to by their first name. Maybe his name is Bribery Bribery?
